Class Descriptions

Advanced Step - High-energy low impact steps class using progressive combinations and power moves that target legs, hips and glutes. This class is great for men and women of all fitness levels.

Basic Step - This class is for those who want a great workout, but do not want the complicated choreography.

Body Bar - Experience a new dimension in resistance training while toning and losing inches, utilizing weighted bars. Guaranteed to increase your muscular strength and endurance.

Circuit Training - Increase your cardiovascular endurance level by intertwining aerobic cross training and resistance training. A variety of equipment is utilized to provide you with a well-rounded and intense workout.

IMPACT - This class offers an intense workout consisting of 45 minutes of high impact aerobics and kickboxing, 10-minutes of abdominal and 30 minutes of upper/lower body training. Get back vital energy and release the frustration with IMPACT, high endurance training.

Intermediate Step - A "step up" from Basic Step, this class is for step lovers who want a great workout that offers a few more combinations.

Kickboxing - This class incorporates power moves using various props and weights, introductory kickboxing and circuit training routines. If you want to improve your muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance, this class is for you.

Power Yoga - The music and postures are upbeat, and will surely leave you sweating. The focus is on core muscle strength, balance and flexibility. All levels are welcome; you will find the progressive postures adaptable to both beginner and advanced.

Pilates- Designed to tone and sculpt your entire body with an emphasis on flexibility and overall strength.  If you are looking for a longer, leaner and more toned body, then this is the class for you!

Spinning - This is indoor group cycling, using specialized bikes able to adjust the resistance based on the need of the movement and of the participant. Classes feature sprints, jumps, climbs as well as relaxing cool downs.

Sports Circuit - This is a high-intensity circuit class incorporating components such as aerobic conditioning, agility, balance, speed and muscular endurance.  The class will use hand weights, body bars, BOSU balance trainer, bikes, jump ropes, medicine balls, jump boxes, stability balls and lots more.

Yoga - Relax in a quiet atmosphere enhancing your mind and body. Working at your own pace, you will be instructed through a series of postures that will increase muscular strength, flexibility and concentration.

Y-Walk & Y-Run - Tired of being indoors. Take a walk or jog around downtown. The instructor provides the warm-up, guide through the course, stretching and cool-down.
