The Charles W. Lamar, Jr. YMCA is in downtown Baton Rouge -- featuring strength and cardiovascular equipment, and classes including Yoga, Pilates, Sports Circuit and Spinning.  Other amenities include steam shower and locker rooms, free weights and Cybex strength training equipment.  Free parking (2 hour limit) in the adjacent garage).  Free nursery also available.

 

 

   

 

Scholarships are available for all YMCA programs based on financial need and availability of funds.  Applications are available at the front desk.
 

Hours of Operation

Monday through Friday 5:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
   
Nursery Hours  
     Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
    3:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
     Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
