SPINNING

Spinning was created in 1986 by Johnny Goldberg while he was training for the Race Across America (RAMM).    It is now the most recognized name in indoor cycling.  It is a highly charged aerobic workout.

Spinning is a great cardio and endurance workout.  It suits a wide range of abilities, fitness levels and fitness goals, whether you are a cyclist or not.

A spin class lasts 40 minutes and is led by an instructor who is also on a bike.  Throughout the course of the class, the instructor will cue participants to change the resistance to simulate going up and down hills and will even get out of the seat to “climb” or sprint.

Spin can be very challenging, but the beauty of this type of workout is that it can be geared to any fitness level.  Experienced cyclists can ride right next to spin newbies because YOU control the resistance, thus, the intensity of the workout.

Cyclers get!  Enjoy intervals and hills and a cardio workout that fulfills that need for speed!

Beginning Spin

Group cycling for everyone...this class will ensure that you know how to set up your bike, teach you proper riding form and build your endurance.  The class will progress to include some advanced riding techniques once you have mastered the basics.  Come prepared to sweat and make sure to bring your towel and water bottle.

YaYa Cyclers

Restricted Class.

For members of the Baton Rouge
